We usually open our doors and start deliveries around mid-April (depending on the weather) and we close up for the winter around November 1st.

DIRECTIONS TO HICKLING’S FISH FARM:

• From the North and the New York State Thruway (west of Utica):
NYS Thruway East to the Utica Exit and Routes 8 & 12 South. Take Route 8 South and follow to the town of Leonardsville (approximately 20 to 25 miles). In Leonardsville turn left onto Center Street by the Horned Dorset restaurant which is a large tan building, go ½ mile to the “T” and turn right onto Otsego County Route 18. Go 2 miles and turn left onto Otsego County Route 20. Take the third right turn onto Stevens Road (about 3 miles). You’ll see our sign on the corner. Follow the signs for about another ½ mile.

• From New York State Thruway (east of Herkimer):
NYS Thruway West to the Herkimer exit. Take 28 South to Route 20 (approximately 10 miles). Turn right and take Route 20 west to Route 8 (approximately 15 miles). Turn left and take Route 8 South to the town of Leonardsville (4 miles). In Leonardsville turn left onto Center Street by the Horned Dorset restaurant which is a large tan building, go ½ mile to the “T” and turn right onto Otsego County Route 18. Go 2 miles and turn left onto Otsego County Route 20. Take the third right turn onto Stevens Road (about 3 miles). You’ll see our sign on the corner. Follow the signs for about another ½ mile.

• From the South (Binghamton):
Take 81 North then 88 East toward Albany. Get off at the Sidney exit and take Route 8 North to New Berlin. At the stop light in New Berlin (not South New Berlin) turn right onto Route 80 East. Go approximately 8 miles to the town of Edmeston. At the 4 corners in Edmeston (no stop light), go straight across onto Otsego County Route 20 (do not follow Route 80 through Edmeston). Go 2 ½ miles and turn left onto Stevens Road. You’ll see our sign on the corner. Follow signs another ½ mile.

• From the Southeast (New York City):
Take Rt. 17 West to Deposit. Get off at the Deposit exit and take Route 8 North to New Berlin. At the stop light in New Berlin (not South New Berlin) turn right onto Route 80 East. Go approximately 8 miles to the town of Edmeston. At the 4 corners in Edmeston (no stop light), go straight across onto Otsego County Route 20 (do not follow Route 80 through Edmeston). Go 2 ½ miles and turn left onto Stevens Road. You’ll see our sign on the corner. Follow signs another ½ mile.

• From the East (Cooperstown):
Take Take Route 80 West to Edmeston (approximately 15 miles). At the four corners in Edmeston (no stop light), turn right onto County Route 20. Go 2 ½ miles and turn left onto Stevens Road. You’ll see our sign on the corner. Follow signs another ½ mile.

• From the West (Norwich):
From Route 12 in Norwich take Route 23 East to Route 8 (approximately 8 miles). Turn left and take Route 8 North to New Berlin (approximately 8 miles). At the stop light in New Berlin (not South New Berlin) turn right onto Route 80 East. Go approximately 8 miles to the town of Edmeston. At the 4 corners in Edmeston (no stop light), go straight across onto Otsego County Route 20 (do not follow Route 80 through Edmeston). Go 2 ½ miles and turn left onto Stevens Road. You’ll see our sign on the corner. Follow signs another ½ mile.

• From Interstate 88 and Route 23 (Oneonta):
From I-88, take the Morris exit to Route 23. Follow Route 23 West through Oneonta to the town of Morris. At the stop light in Morris, turn right onto Route 51. Go 1 mile and turn left onto Otsego County Route 49. Follow 49 to the end (approximately 8 or 9 miles). At the “T” turn right onto Route 80 East. Go approximately 1 ½ miles to the town of Edmeston. At the 4 corners in Edmeston (no stop light), go straight across onto Otsego County Route 20 (do not follow Route 80 through Edmeston). Go 2 ½ miles and turn left onto Stevens Road. You’ll see our sign on the corner. Follow signs another ½ mile.

~alternate route from Oneonta (this route is a little longer but may be less confusing):
From I-88, take the Morris exit to Route 23. Outside of Oneonta Route 23 turns left and Route 205 goes straight. Take Route 205 to Route 80 (approximately 20 miles). Turn left and take Route 80 West to Edmeston (approximately 10 miles). At the four corners in Edmeston (no stop light), turn right onto County Route 20. Go 2 ½ miles and turn left onto Stevens Road. You’ll see our sign on the corner. Follow signs another ½ mile.
